Sometimes it’s nice to do different creative stuff. I think it keeps my brain fresh and I love learning new things.
I got a book on Photoshop and learnt how to paint. It’s a bit different to real painting but I like it!

I’ve been doing some art recently as it’s nice to be creative in different ways sometimes. I thought I would share my process.

Once I’ve chosen what I want to draw, I start looking at different shapes and patterns. I normally make some rough sketches.

Then I draw up a big version. I like to make them big so I can create bigger prints. I drew my cats small and it means I’ll have to redo them if I want to ever print them big. Because the owl is symmetrical, I only have to draw half of it, then I can flip it in Photoshop.

Then I play around in Photoshop with layers and colours until I get a result I like. Sometimes I’ll make several versions of the same picture.
