I came second in Jewellery Maker of the Year, a competition by Beads and Beyond magazine. Apparently there was only a handful of votes between my entry and the one that won first place. I’m feeling rather proud of myself. Seeing as I only really started making Jewellery early this year I’ve come a long way in that time.

The voting for JMOY is over now so I just have to wait and see. The winners will be announced in the next issue of Beads and Beyond. The other entries were of a high standard so I’ve not got my hopes up. Just being shortlisted was enough for me!
