OMG I DID IT!!
I can’t believe it! Not a single day missed.
What a year it has been! I know everyone always talks about how much of an impact 365 has had on their lives and how much it has done for them but I

never knew quite how much it would do for me!

This last year has been a year of change for me and it’s all down to this project! As you can see throughout my set my appearance is very different but that’s not the big change.

This time last year my fibromyalgia was really bad, I could barely do anything. I had given up on any hopes and dreams I had and spent all my days doing pretty much nothing. There were only three things in my life that made me happy, my two cats and taking photos (mostly photos of the cats). In mid July I got my first DSLR and two weeks later stumbled upon the 365 pool and decided that it looked like a fun thing to have a go at. Little did I know what I was getting myself into! Over the months I started to understand photography and photoshop a lot more and I realised that maybe this was something I was kinda good at and something I was definately passionate about. It gave me something to feel good about and made me realise that I wanted a future. I started making changes to my life, I got fitter so that my illness wouldn’t be such a burden on my life, I started college and camera club in an attempt to become more social and probably the biggest step I took was applying to university in November. After months of waiting I found out that I had got a place studying photography in Bristol. Since then it has been all go. I’ve sold my house and am moving in a couple of weeks. University starts in two months! If someone had told me this time last year that I would be moving away, on my own, and starting a degree I would have laughed at them and told them not to be so stupid.

What kept me going was the help, support and friendship from all of you lot! I never thought I would make such good friends and meet such awesome people and I definately didn’t think it would turn out to be one of the best things I had ever done!

learnt a lot about photoshop
learnt a lot about myself

took some photos I’m really really proud of
organised an exhibition of my work
and most of all, had a lot of fun

as for what I do next, well you’ll have to wait and see! I am moving on the 14th August so I’m not planning on doing anything until I’m moved in and online again. There is almost no way I will ever do another 365 days but that doesn’t mean you’ve seen the last of me

OMG penultimate day
So this is me, just me, no fancy props, silly clothes, cool locations, fancy lighting, just me.

I don’t actually have time for anything awesome today. I am having a barbeque and all my friends are coming over to celebrate me leaving town in a few weeks.

Jumping shots in a tutu are wayy harder than in shorts/trousers! Most of my shots were of me with the tutu flying upwards, exposing my bright pink hot pants!

I had to wear the tutu one last time before the end!

One of the things I will miss when 365 is over is using it as an excuse to dress up in silly clothes and messing around.

One thing I won’t miss is having to find the time to do a shot on busy days, especially when the only time I have is in the middle of day with the worst possible light e

I’m not a girly girl and I hate dresses, heels, handbags, all that kinda crap. I do however own one pair of heels that I had to wear to my brothers wedding and they’ve been in the cupboard ever since, until today.

This was suprisingly difficult for me. I think I would rather pose naked than in a dress! I just felt so uncomfortable. The only way I could do it was if you didn’t see all that much of the dress. I wish I had more time so I could do something different, i hate this! The exhibition has an open evening tonight so I have to go sort stuff out there now.

I’m really beginning to appreciate evening light and summer evenings are super nice too so it’s nice to get out taking pics.

I wasn’t planning on doing an outdoor 365 today, I also wasn’t planning on climbing over a fence into an abandoned quarry and swimming in the lake I didn’t take my tripod as I wasn’t planning any of it so I had to balance my camera on my bag and some rocks!

Had so much fun, the water was lovely (and not cold or deep as the danger signs said!), it was crystal clear adn there were little baby frogs swimming around. Didn’t see any fish though.

Only a week to go!!!!

The exhibition opens today, going to pop down there later to make sure nothing has fallen off the walls and to add some finishing touches.

I started packing some of my stuff up today, I’m not really sure what I’m going to do with all the 365 props I have gathered over the year, I have a huuuge drawer full of various wierd stuff! Maybe we need a 365 prop swop shop!

Today was one of those days where everything I wanted to do for my SP went wrong or didn’t work so i raided the props box and this is what happened!

It’s been super sunny today, spent most of the afternoon lying in the garden with the cats.

I can’t praise the Acer service people enough, the collected it on Tuesday, I have back today £70 for accidental damage and warranty cover was well spent! It’s the second time I’ve needed it fixing and both times it has been super super quick. Good thing really since I am completely unable to live without a computer!

Today we hung all the photos in our exhibition. It was a tiny bit stressful at times but it’s all done now. Hopefully people will actually visit it!

Most people have 4-8 big photos, I decided to be different and put up 36 little prints of my favourite 365s

Day one without a computer and I am already suffering from withdrawl. I bought one of these wierd paper things with words and pictures printed on it in an attempt to find out what is happening in the world. It is a poor subsitute for the internet, there is no flickr contacts page for a start and not a lolcat in sight!!

The people who are buying my house wanted another look round so I had to go out so I walked down to the river and found this starry grafitti.
The (super awesome) weekend has left me exhausted, all i want to do is sleeep!

This is my last upload for a while, my laptop is being picked up tomorrow (any time between 9 and 1 uh) to be repaired. Hopefully it won’t take too long, I don’t know how I will cope without it! So glad I have accidental damage cover though, otherwise it could be a whole lot worse!)

my computer is kinda working! I just can’t use the keyboard very well, half the keys don’t work and it thinks that the ctrl key is pressed down half the time so does wierd stuff!

i spilt my drink on my laptop and killed it so i won’t be uploading again for a while. Posting from my phone, it won’t let me add description. Uh. Good news is that contracts were exchanged on my house today. Moving on august 14th. Have an awesome weekend everyone.
