I’m really getting into working with wire. These marbled beads arrived in the post today so I thought I would have a go at making them into pendants. I ran out of the thinner copper wire so I used silver plated wire on the blue pendant instead. I have put some on chains, I might try cord as well.

After the successes of yesterday, I thought I would play with some copper wire. I used the same antique effect on these as I much prefer it to shiney metal.

I decided to make a bracelet now I have a better idea of what I am doing with the wire. I used silver coated wire with turquoise beads. I also added an antique effect to make it look a bit aged. I’m pretty pleased with the results

I’ve always wanted to try working with wire as I love the effects it can acheive. It’s hard on the hands though so I don’t think it something that I will be doing often. I would like to make these into bracelets. I’m pretty pleased with them so far.
